PM GatiShakti Portal (https://pmgatishakti.gov.in) is a digital platform that integrates infrastructure data from various government departments to support coordinated planning and development. It provides geospatial tools and datasets to help plan transportation, logistics and infrastructure projects efficiently across India.

Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO), headquartered in Lucknow serves as the premier research and development wing of Indian Railways. Established in 1957, RDSO is responsible for the design, standardization, testing and quality assurance of railway equipment, technology and systems used across the Indian Railways.

Indian Railways Institute of Financial Management (IRIFM), Secunderabad is a Centralized Training Institute (CTI) under the Ministry of Railways. IRIFM was envisioned in the Budget Speech of 2013-14 as an exclusive Centralized Training Institute for the officers of Indian Railways responsible for management of finance and accounts., with an aim to provide structured and professional training in contemporary areas to enable them to face emerging challenges and tap opportunities for strengthening the finances of the organization.

Indian Railways Institute of Civil Engineering (IRICEN), located in Pune, Maharashtra, is a premier training institute of Indian Railways for Civil Engineering Officers established in 1959 as the Permanent Way Training School, it was later renamed IRICEN in 1985.

Indian Railways Institute of Electrical Engineering (IRIEEN), located in Nashik, Maharashtra, was established in 1988. It serves as the premier training institution for officers of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE).

Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE), located in Jamalpur, Bihar, is the oldest among the Centralized Training Institutes of Indian Railways.

Indian Railways Institute of Transport Management (IRITM), Lucknow was set up in the year 2003 to train Probationary officers joining the Indian Railway Traffic Service. IRITM also conducts several specialized courses for in-service officers to equip them to deal with the changing business scenario in India and consequent changes in the transport sector. Some of these courses are in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Public Private Partnership, Infrastructure Development & Project Management.

Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunications (IRISET), established in 1957 and located in Secunderabad, Telangana, is a premier training institute under the Ministry of Railways.
