               The RPF Zonal Training Centre, N.E. Railway, Gorakhpur (inaugurated in the year 1955 by Ex Prime Minister Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri) had the privilege & honour to organize the Passing Out Parade of the 49th Batch of 350 Lady Constable Recruits on 15 December 2020. The Chief Guest Sh. Vinay Kumar Tripathi, General Manager, North Eastern Railway graced the occasion and distributed Medals & Certificate of Merit to the awardees. The medal for “All Round Best Recruit” was awarded to LCT Recruit Prerna Kumari , ”Best in Indoor “ to LCT Recruit Aditi Tuddu and “Best in Outdoor” to Km. Priyanka. The Parade Commander LCT Recruit Komal Kumari and 2 I/C LCT Recruit Bhumika Chaudhary were also awarded with medals and certificates for their excellent performance. The Lady Constables selected through a transparent & rigorous selection process are highly qualified and talented individuals having graduation, post graduation & diploma degrees with excellence in technology, sports and other extra-curricular activities. They were trained in Indoor and Outdoor subjects as well as handling of modern weapons and technology. Notwithstanding the break in training for two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lady Recruits showed excellent zeal & motivation in completing the training with flying colours. The ceremony of Passing Out Parade was of the highest Order held in the august presence of the Senior Officers of the Railways, Police, CAPFs and covered by the print & electronic media.
