Passing Out Parade of 248 women Constable recruits (Batch No. 14) belonging to different Zonal Railways was held at Railway Protection Force (RPF) Training Centre, Mokamaghat/ECR on 16th November 2020.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri S. Mayank, IG-cum-PCSC/ECR and Chief Guest of the occasion thanked the DG/RPF, Shri Arun Kumar, IPS, for his endeavour to make RPF a professional and modern Force and his continued emphasis to adopt modern training and proficiency methods especially the use of modern technology & IT to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Force.
He also advised the women Constable recruits to work with devotion and discharge their duties with utmost sincerity to protect the Railway property and provide security to railway passengers. Special focus shall be given to take care of vulnerable section of society, women and children as trafficking of women and children is on rise. He also wished the young recruits a bright future, congratulated the them for their outstanding performance and advised them to discharge their duties with utmost professionalism, devotion and compassion.
Ms. Neha, was adjudged as "Best Recruit" & "Best in Indoor" and Ms. Pragati Kumari Sharma was adjudged as "Best in Outdoor". The Parade was commanded by Ms. Pragati Kumari Sharma. Parade was organized maintaining social distance and observing all norms pertaining to COVID-19.
The recruits have been rigorously trained for 8 months in Indoor & Outdoor subjects to face the upcoming challenges in Railways. Upon oath, they have become Members of Railway Protection Force. Out of these 248 Recruit Constables, 20 are Post Graduates and 148 are Graduates and 80 are holding plus two/Diploma in technical & other courses.
