159 Constable (Ancillary) Recruits reported to RPF/ZTI/KGP for 08 weeks initial training from 07.09.2019 to 01.11.2020. On successful completion of their training, Passing out Parade (POP) was organised for 157 Constable (Ancillary) Recruits on 12.11.2020 (One Recruit left the training and one trainee passed away during treatment at Railway Hospital/KGP on 08.10.2020). There are some trainees having B-Tech, Master degree & other higher degrees. The Recruits are from different parts of the country. The Zone wise allotment is SER-54, WR-30, SR-07, SECR-09, ECoR-15, SCR-11, NCR-07, CR-19 & SWR-5 (Total-157). 
 
There recruits were trained in Range Classification, Indoor and Outdoor Examination, professional/ trade test conducted by Board. Chest No. 06 Shri Upendra Yadav stood Outdoor as well as all round best & Chest No. 09 Shri Avinash Dohare stood Indoor/Trade best respectively. 
 
Shri Manoranjan Pradhan, DRM/KGP presided over the function as the Chief Guest. Other Branch officers including DSC/KGP also attended the event. Oath of the trainees was administered by the Principal/ZTI/KGP. The Chief Guest DRM/KGP was pleased to award Rs. 8,000/- to the ZTI team for imparting excellent training.
