Passing out Parade (PoP) of 546 lady Constable Recruits was organized in a grand ceremony held on 14 Sept 2020 at RPSF Training Centre, 2 BN RPSF, Rajahi Camp, Gorakhpur. Shri Atul Kumar Srivastava, IRPFS, PCSC/RPF/NER graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Addressing the outgoing trainees, PCSC congratulated them and their parents on successful completion of their 08 months initial training at one of RPF’s most reputed training centres. He motivated the recruits to be courageous and be on their guard when they face the real challenges in day to day working. He reiterated the need of constant up gradation of knowledge and skills and to translate the same into action as and when need arises.

He further congratulated Training Centre’s faculty and Commanding Officer/ 2BN RPSF for ensuring no compromise with quality of training in spite of the limited infrastructure and ongoing threat of COVID-19 pandemic. During POP social distancing was observed and trainees did march past in Box formation using masks.

The Indoor Best & Over All Best Recruit Medal and Scroll of merit was conferred on Constable recruit Reena Dosriya of Central Railway. The Outdoor Best Recruit Medal and Scroll of merit was conferred on Constable recruit Reena Devi Yadav of Northern Railway. The parade was commanded by Constable recruit Varuna of NR and Constable recruit Jaya Malviya functioned as the 2 I/C of the parade.

The ceremony was live streamed on Youtube. Oath was administered by Principal RPSF Training Centre and the ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by the Commanding Officer 2 BN RPSF.
