200 recruits of Railway Protection Force passed out after 08 months of rigorous training from RPF Multi Disciplinary Specialized Training Institute, Kanchrapara on 07.08.2020 in a colorful passing out parade (Dikshant Parade).
These constable recruits represent 12 different states (viz. Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand & West Bengal) of the country. They were trained in 5th batch of MDSTI / Kanchrapara.
Out of these 200 Recruit Constables, 11 are Post Graduates and others are Hons Graduates/Diploma in other technical courses. Besides this, some are good sportsmen, who have represented their states in different games.
Hon’ble GM/ER, Shri Sunit Sharma, graced the colorful passing out parade as Chief Guest and witnessed the Oath taking ceremony. Shri A.N. Mishra, IG-cum-PCSC/RPF /ER, Shri Tarique Ahmed, IG/CLW, Shri Sailendra Pratap Singh, DRM/SDAH, Shri Surendra Kumar, CWM/KPA and other dignitaries also joined and witnessed this auspicious celebration at MDSTI/KPA.
Keeping in view the threat of COVID-19, the parade was done strictly following social-distancing norms. All the recruits also wore face-masks during parade. Only selected guests were invited. The event was streamed live on Youtube so that parents and relatives of the recruits and other interested persons could watch.
