POP 2020

On 24.07.2020, the Passing Out Parade of the 2nd & 3rd Batch of RPF SI Cadets of RPF ZTI Kharagpur was conducted at ZTI Kharagpur. The PoP marked the completion of nine months of training of 434 SI Cadets. In spite of the threat of COVID-19 pandemic, the training was completed without any disruption. However, in view of the changing scenario, social distancing norms were adhered to not only in conducting the daily classes but also during the final passing out parade. The training consisted of indoor classes, outdoor classes and range classification. Sri Suraj Meena was declared the ‘All Round Best’, while Sri Sushil Kumar adjudged the ‘Outdoor Best’ and Sri Pradeep Karatee stood the ‘Indoor Best’. Sri D.B.Kasar, IG-cum-PCSC/RPF/SER graced the Passing Out Parade as the chief guest. The event was also attended by DRM Kharagpur Sri Manoranjan Pradhan, DIG-cum-CSC/RPF/SER, ADRM/Kharagpur, CMM/Kharagpur and all the DSCs of SER. After the parade, PCSC/RPF/SER inaugurated a rain harvesting system in the ZTI Campus.

The Passing Out Parade of 147 Constable Recruits of N.F.Railway (75th batch was held at Zonal RPF Training Centre, Domohani, N.F.Railway on 20.07.2020. PCSC/N.F.Railway/ Maligaon graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Passing Out Parade of 164 women Sub-Inspector Cadets (Batch No. 9) consisting all the Zonal Railways was held at RPF Training Centre, Moula-Ali on 17.07.2020. During this colourful parade Sri Arun Kumar, IPS, Director General/Railway Protection Force, New Delhi, was Chief Guest and Sri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway was the Guest of Honour at the Passing Out Parade and graced the occasion.

These Sub-Inspector Cadets have been rigorously trained for 9 months in Indoor & Outdoor subjects to face the upcoming challenges in Railways and after passing the final exam, today they have participated in this colourful extraordinary parade and after taking pledge, they have become Member of Railway Protection Force.

Sri Sanjay Sankrityayan, IG-Director, RPF/Training Centre, Moula-Ali, Sri G.M.Eswara Rao, IG-PCSC/South Central Railway and senior officers of Railways & RPF attended the parade.

Parade was organized maintaining social distance and observing all the formalities related to COVID 19. Live streaming of the Parade was done so that family members of SI Cadets and RPF personnel can watch it live as because they could not attend due to ongoing pandemic.

Sri Arun Kumar, Director General/RPF gave away medals to Ms. V.Pragna, who was adjudged Best cadet & Best in Outdoor & Ms. Prachee, who was adjudged as “Best in Indoor”. Parade was commanded by Ms. K.M. Praveena.

In his address, the Chief Guest asked the women Sub-Inspectors to be ready for security of Railway property, Railway Passenger and passenger area. Special responsibility and care to be given to vulnerable section of society, women and children as trafficking of women and children is on an increase. He also wished the young cadets a bright future.
Sri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager/SCR also congratulated the women SI Cadets for their outstanding performance and wished that they will perform their duties with utmost professionalism and compassion.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Passing out parade of the first batch of 301 Constable recruits, getting trained at STC 9th Battalion RPSF, Jagadhari workshop, was held on 11th July 2020. IG-cum-PCSC/RPSF Shri Vinod Kumar Dhaka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. IG/RPSF inspected the parade and distributed medals to the top performers amongst recruits. Training report was presented on the occasion by the Commanding Officer-cum-Principal/STC. In his address, the Chief Guest motivated the recruits and underlined that the Oath taken by recruits during the POP should be followed in letter and spirit all through their career. Social distancing was observed in parade. CWM/JUDW and Sr. DSC Ambala were also present on the occasion.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Training imparted to 150 Constable recruits from 31.10.2019 to 07.07.2020 at STC 4 BN RPSF NJP. 05 Constable Recruits were relieved from training on their own request duly approved by concerned PCSCs. The final Examination of Recruits were conducted by the Examination Board constituted by PCSC/RPSF from 18.06.2020 to 27.06.2020. All 145 recruits were declared pass. The Passing out parade was held on 07.07.2020 Sh. Sanjay Kishore PCSC/RPF/NFR was the Chief Guest. All recruits were dispatched to their respective Zonal Railway by 10.07.2020.
