The Transformation Cell (TC) is focused on driving process, structure and cultural reforms and strategic initiatives to steadily transform Indian Railways into being a more vibrant and efficient organization, and help it achieve its vision of being the engine of India’s economic growth and development.
TC is a multidisciplinary team, comprising of Executive Director and Director level officers from traffic, electrical, engineering, mechanical, signaling & telecom, accounts, personnel, and stores. It is headed by a Principal Executive Director who reports to the Chairman, Railway Board.
