Classification of ‘Pyroxinite’. |
The sanction of the Central Government is
accorded to confirm the tentative classification at Class-120 for
trainload movement and Class-125 for wagonload movement assigned by South
Eastern Railway to charge Pyroxinite at par with Dunite under the main
head ‘Limestone’ with effect from 01.10.2001 (First October Two Thousand
One). However, in terms of Board’s letter No.TCR/1078/2004/2 dated
24.11.2004 (Rates Circular No.51 of 2004), ‘Pyroxinite’ will be charged at
Class-140 for trainload movement and Class-145 for wagonload movement
w.e.f. 27.11.2004.
Other terms and conditions as
applicable to the booking of ‘Dunite’ will apply to the booking of ‘Pyroxinite’.
This issues with concurrence of
Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.
Issue necessary instructions to
all concerned and acknowledge receipt of the letter.
