                             Sub:- Classification of ‘Raw Cane Sugar.

The sanction of the Central Government is accorded to confirm the tentative classification assigned by Western Railway to charge Raw Cane Sugar at par with Sugar. Accordingly, Raw Cane Sugar will be charged at Class-110 in wagonloads and at Class-105 in trainloads. 

            Other terms and conditions as applicable to the booking of ‘Sugar’ will apply to the booking of ‘Raw Cane Sugar’.  

            This issues with concurrence of Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways. 

            Issue necessary instructions to all concerned and acknowledge receipt of the letter.
