 Sub:- Minimum weight condition for potatoes when loaded in BCX/BCN/BCNA wagons. 

            Sanction of Central Government is hereby accorded to temporarily fix the minimum weight condition of potatoes at 410 quintals when loaded in BCX/BCN/BCNA wagons. 

            The instruction shall take effect from 15.11.2004 and will remain valid till further orders. 

            Zonal Railways with originating traffic of this commodity are required to send the comprehensive test weighment report as per the guidelines contained in Board’s letter No.TCR/1394/2002/4 dated 27.1.2003 so that the minimum weight condition of the commodity could be fixed on permanent basis. 

            This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways. 

            Issue necessary instructions to all concerned and acknowledge receipt of this letter.
