Sub: Rebate in freight for traffic transported in wagons
owned by M/s National Aluminium Company (NALCO) Ltd., Bhubaneswar.
Further to Board’s letter, No.TCR/1644/96/2 dated 01.04.2004 (Rates
Circular No.11 of 2004), sanction of the Central Government is hereby
accorded to grant rebate in freight for Caustic Soda, Caustic Soda Liquor,
Alumina and Furnace Oil when transported in wagons owned by M/s National
Aluminium Company (NALCO) Ltd., Bhubaneswar as under:

The
percentage rebate indicated above would remain in force from 01.10.2004
to
30.09.2005.
The rebate in case of Furnace Oil will be applicable for the stream(s)
notified by the Operating Department of the Zonal Railways in consultation
with Traffic Transportation Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.
It
may be ensured that before the rebate in freight indicated above is
notified, necessary agreement for the transport of traffic in privately
owned wagons is entered into by the party with the Railways.
This
issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate in the Ministry
of Railways.
