             Sub:  Movement of timber outside North Eastern States
                      by rail - Station-wise loading of railway wagons.

            Ref:  Board's Instructions of even number dated 29.6.2001
 27.8.2001, 30.8.2001.

Please refer to your XXR Message No.C/30/RG/1/Pt.X(L-3)  dated 15.5.2002 seeking the schedule to be followed for loading of timber from June 2002 onwards. 

As per the advice received from SIT, it is clarified that the number of wagons that could be loaded as advised vide Board's letter No.97/TT-III/6/Timber dated 19.6.2001, as referred to in para 3 of Board's letter of even number dated 27.8.2001 would continue for the quarter commencing June 2002 onwards unless modified, otherwise. 

 Action may be taken in accordance with the extant instructions in this regard.
