Sub:-
Engine Hire Charges for Ballast trains.
Ref:- Board's letter of even number dated 09.08.2002.
Sanction
of the Central Govt. is accorded to the revision of Engine Hire charges
for Ballast trains as under with effect from 15.12.2003 which are as under:-
i)
Rs.2030/- (Rupees Two Thousand Thirty only) per engine per hour
(including cost of loco crew) subject to a minimum charge of
Rs.20300/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand Three Hundred only) per day for
B.G.
ii)
Rs.
1825/- (Rupees One.Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty Five Only) per
engine per hour (excluding cost of loco crew) subject to a minimum
charge of Rs.18250/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand Two Hundred
Fifty only) per day for B.G.
iii)
Rs.1515/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Fifteen only) per
engine per hour (including cost of loco crew) subject to a minimum
charge of Rs.15150/-(Rupees Fifteen thousand One Hundred Fifty
only) per day for M.G.
iv)
Rs.1305/- (Rupees One Thousand Three Hundred Five only) per
engine per hour (excluding cost of loco crew) subject to a minimum charge
of Rs. 13050/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand Fifty only) per day for
MG.
2.
The above charges are applicable to diesel and electric engines and
will remain
in force till further orders.
3.
This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate in the
Ministry of
Railways.
4.
Necessary instructions
may be issued to the staff concerned.
