OFFICE MEMORANDUM

             Sanction of the Ministry of Railways is hereby communicated for the revision of siding charges in respect of Tuticorin Port Trust Railway for movement of cargo traffic through port siding for shipping operation from the present rate of Rs.17.50 per metric tonne to Rs.19.40 per metric tonne. The rates of other two siding charges namely movement of goods traffic through siding by private parties which is presently Rs.15.00per metric tonne and ad-hoc charges to be levied on M/s Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation Limited for using Port Trust’s marshalling yard which is presently Rs.7.00per metric tonne will remain unchanged. 

            The revised rate will come into force from the date of publication in the official Gazette of Government of Tamil Nadu. 

            This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.
