                Sub: Facilities for the labourers working in the Goods sheds on Indian Railways.

           The issue of facilities to be provided to labourers working in goods sheds was discussed in a recent meeting of the Board. 

           It has been decided by the Board that in addition to the provision of  drinking water, toilet and resting facilities, which are normally provided by Railways in the goods sheds, raised taps for bathing purposes may also be considered for provision by Zonal Railways on case to case basis depending on local requirements as a gesture of general welfare.
