Sub:- Minimum
weight condition for “Coco Brooms”.
Ref: Board’s letter
of even number dated 10.03.2003 (Rates Instruction No.7 of 2003)
Sanction of the Central Government is hereby accorded to tentatively fix
the minimum weight condition of Coco Broom at W/145(BG) for a period of
six months subject to furnishing of comprehensive test weighment report
of the commodity in sufficient number of wagons used for loading the
commodity.
This instruction will come into force w.e.f. 01.02.2004.
For the intervening period between 01.01.2004 and 31.01.2004, the
enhanced weight condition of W/140(BG) will continue to apply.
Zonal
Railways with originating traffic in Coco Brooms are requested to
provide comprehensive test weighment report as per guidelines contained
in Board’s letter No.TCR/1394/2002/4 dated 27.1.2003 and send the
report alongwith their recommendation to Board by 30.04.2004 positively.
This
issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate in the Ministry
of Railways.
