made to make available the train / coaches on demand, there are limitation
due to limited number of stocks & operational feasibility.
All the major stations
enroute Kalka-Shimla Railway have accommodation facility for tourists,
popularly known as Retiring Rooms & dormitories which can be booked on
‘first come first serve basis’ on payment of prescribed charges. Only
those holding a valid ticket for and inward/outward journey are eligible
to apply for the use of the Retiring Rooms and Dormitory Beds. The booking
can be directly done with the respective Station Masters. The details of
